Tee Off with The Lion Foundation Annual Golf Outing October 9 in Carlisle
Supporting our schools, our community, our future
CAMP HILL, PA—The Lion Foundation invites golfers to tee off at its 9th annual golf outing at the Carlisle Country Club on Monday, October 9, featuring a silent auction as well as a long drive, closest to the pin, putting and other contests. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome.
Entry categories include student ($100), single ($150) and foursome ($600). Your contribution includes 18 holes of golf, beginning with lunch (11:30 a.m.) before the 4-person scramble shotgun start (12:30 p.m.). Golf attire is required.
“In our first eight years of hosting the golf outing, we raised more than $100,000 to support academic, cultural and athletic programs in the Camp Hill School District. This year, we have set our sights on a goal of $15,000,” explained John Kennedy, president, The Lion Foundation. “Teachers, students, athletes and residents benefit from these valuable contributions, providing opportunities such as reading camps, field trips, arts programs and improved technology in classrooms that are not covered in the school budget.”
Individuals and businesses may lend their support by becoming a sponsor. Sponsorship categories include hole sponsor, cart sponsor and eagle. All sponsorships are featured in the Camp Hill Borough Newsletter and the foundation’s golf outing brochure.
Wood & Myers Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and Hilton/Diminick Orthodontic Associates return as title sponsors this year.
